How We Set Up

1. We clean and prepare the toilet unit, which leaves us with an empty waste tank. The bottom of this empty tank will come equipped with a hose and a filter bag, with the hose attached to the flush handle.

2. A chemical solution will be poured into the tank. Most of the time, the solution only comes up to 25ml. You can be sure that we adhere to the strictest safety guidelines outlined while handling this chemical solution.

3. We add approximately two litres of water to the chemical solution, making sure that there is enough water to cover the filter bag which lies at the bottom of the tank. However, this amount can differ depending on the type of portable toilet.

4. The tank lid is then closed, and the flush is pulled. This is to ensure that the systems are fully operational. If it isn’t, we adjust the water levels.

5. We know that our portable toilets are ready to use when the diluted chemical solution flows through the flush pump. To remove any lingering air pockets, we pull the flush several times.
